eAXxess™ is a powerful security management software package that provides multitasking support and flexibility. The open architecture enables you to build a security management system or to integrate with existing card readers and alarm monitoring devices. netEDGE™
eAXxess utilizes the HID IP-based EDGE hardware platform while maintaining compatibility with existing MAXxess communication options. It is specifically designed to utilize any network infrastructure to communicate to netEDGE single door IP controllers or eRAM area controllers. This true open architecture solution allows maximum flexibility for future growth.

Multiport™ Integration Manager
The unique MAXxess Multiport module works as a universal gateway to simplify the integration of other security management subsystems, such as HR databases, intrusion alarms, and other building management systems. Multiport now includes a number of libraries to enable the calculation of the number of hours on site by employee. It also has the ability to display internet or intranet resources on the desktop along with the other critical information such as alarm transactions, floor plans, etc, and has a new email library that allows it to not only send email but also receive an email and treat it as an event.

ViewPoint™ Video Management
The open architecture ViewPoint™ module adds the capability to integrate various manufacturers’ DVRs, IP cameras and video IP servers.* Utilizing bi-directional communication to these devices, any pre-determined event can control, display, record and archive both video and text information. Pre-recorded video may be retrieved and viewed by simply selecting the transaction on the screen.

Flexible, Expandable and Reliable
The eAXxess Security Management System features a distributed processing architecture that utilizes remote intelligent control. By localizing access decisions at the hardware level, eAXxess provides the fastest possible processing times. This distributed processing also provides maximum flexibility and the ability to add or delete access points without affecting overall system performance. Access decisions can be made accurately and without hesitation. Connections are made via standard data busses including IP, using your existing Ethernet backbone, fiber, or data busses including RS-485.

Virtual Alarm Buttons
Any desktop may be configured with Virtual Alarm Icons. These may be configured to alert other workstations in the system and MAXxess EndPoint™ of important events that are taking place.
