MAXxess Systems
Inc. Completes Management Buyout

MAXxess Systems Inc. announced that it has completed
the purchase of the company's assets and certain liabilities
from Iteris Holdings Inc. (formerly Odetics).
The assets,
which include the inventories, capital equipment, and intellectual
property of MAXxess Systems and MAXxess Systems Europe Ltd.
was purchased through a management buyout. Wes Appleby, President
and CEO of MAXxess stated: "Prior to the acquisition
MAXxess was part of a multi-divisional business operation
that operated in several diverse markets. This acquisition
will allow us to operate MAXxess as a stand-alone business.
Our objectives have not changed, we will continue to focus
on customer support and product development of next generation
security management systems."
Appleby
added: As part of the transaction, MAXxess has entered into
an agreement with Iteris to provide interim services and facilities.
"Our number one priority is supporting our customers.
Staying in our Anaheim headquarters allows us to transition
the business without interruption."
